Dubai’s Uzbek food scene is getting a new addition as SUPA opens at Millennium Al Barsha.

While Dubai is home to almost every cuisine imaginable, Uzbek restaurants in the city are still relatively scarce. That’s set to change with the arrival of SUPA Dubai, the popular restaurant from Saudi Arabia known for its traditional Uzbek cuisine, charcoal-grilled kebabs, and warm, family-style dining.

Opening at Millennium Al Barsha, SUPA is bringing its blend of honest cooking, generous hospitality, and classic Uzbek dishes to Dubai, offering diners a fresh take on Central Asian cuisine.

The restaurant takes its name from the traditional Uzbek supa — a raised platform found in homes and courtyards where family and friends gather to eat, drink tea, and spend time together. Representing comfort, connection, and hospitality, it’s the inspiration behind the restaurant’s concept.

SUPA Dubai

SUPA is designed to feel like a neighbourhood dining house that’s warm, familiar, and inviting. The space will feature natural materials, aged wood, patterned tiles, soft lighting, and comfortable seating, creating an atmosphere that’s equally suited to family lunches, casual dinners, breakfast meet-ups, or lingering over tea with friends. The overall feel is understated but cosy, blending Middle Eastern warmth with Uzbek heritage.

The menu stays true to traditional Uzbek food while embracing the shared dining culture of the Middle East. At the centre of the kitchen is the charcoal grill, where speciality kebabs are prepared using halal meat, simple marinades, and time-tested open-fire cooking techniques that let the ingredients do the talking.
