Atlantis, The Royal will welcome more amazing attractions

The new additions range from world-class concerts to a bigger waterpark.

There are plenty of reasons to visit the recently opened Atlantis, The Royal, from its MICHELIN Starred restaurants to its luxury rooms. Now, the resort has given us more reasons, as it has unveiled exciting new plans. The property will be welcoming additional attractions, and we are buzzing with excitement.

Speaking to Hotelier Middle East, Timothy Kelly, Executive VP and MD, Atlantis Dubai, confirmed that the resorts will be merged. The plans include a seven-hectare plot between the two properties. Plus, there will be more rooms, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

The Atlantis Dubai concept means that there will be one destination with two hotels, which are separated by the waterpark. So far, Atlantis, The Palm’s Aquaventure is home to more than 105 slides and experiences, which include the world’s tallest waterslide, high-speed drops and body slides. Aquaventure is the world’s largest water park and covers 22.5 hectares. Under the new plans, it will become a bigger Aquaventure World.

Atlantis, The Royal will also be transformed into an entertainment destination, which could rival the likes of Las Vegas. The venue aims to host world-class entertainment, from concerts to theatre shows. If the Beyoncé concert in January 2023 is anything to go by, it’s going to hold FOMO-inducing events.

Today, Atlantis, The Royal is home to 17 restaurants and bars. The resort also includes the MICHELIN Starred restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Plus, guests can enjoy experiences, from sipping on sundowners beside the 90-meter sky-high infinity pool, to indulging in a cake from Little Venice Cake Company Dubai.

Atlantis, we’re impressed.
