The day we’ve been waiting eight years for has finally arrived, as Atlantis The Royal throws open its doors today. This will be the first time those not invited to the resort’s Grand Reveal Weekend have been able to set foot inside the 795-room hotel boasting the world’s largest waterpark, a fountain of fire and water, and a vast swathe of private beach. 

However, it’s the collection of 17 restaurants and bars that will likely have gourmands flocking to Palm Jumeriah. So whether you want to dine with chef Heston Blumenthal or sip sundowners beside the 90-meter sky-high infinity pool, the restaurants at Atlantis The Royal offers something for everyone visiting Dubai’s regal resort.

Eight Celebrity Chefs
Ariana’s Persian Kitchen

Indulge in the exquisite flavours of Persian cuisine at Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, where the fragrant fruits, nuts, and flowers mingle with meats, grains, and vegetables reminiscent of a traditional Persian household. This female-led restaurant, created by TV chef and cookbook author Ariana Bundy, offers a fresh interpretation of classic Persian dishes, infusing traditional recipes with a modern twist. Inspired by family recipes passed down for generations, Ariana’s Persian Kitchen presents complex yet comforting flavours in a harmonious blend of textures, spices, and tastes, all accompanied by warm and gracious hospitality.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Of all the restaurants at Atlantis The Royal, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is the most anticipated. This one-of-a-kind restaurant, which has earned a reputation as a must-visit destination for food connoisseurs in London, offers an unforgettable journey through the culinary history of medieval Britain. Under the guidance of acclaimed chef Heston Blumenthal, diners are treated to a contemporary take on classic British cuisine that dates back to the 14th century. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s menu is a tribute to historical recipes and ingredients, expertly reimagined for the modern palate. Highlights include the Meat Fruit (a playful twist on chicken liver parfait) and the whimsical Tipsy Cake (a spit-roasted pineapple dessert).

The menu features a blend of Japanese-Peruvian flavours known as Nikkei cuisine and includes imaginative small plates, sharing platters, and Nobu signatures. And when it all gets too much, you can hit the pool or beach for a refreshing dip.

At Food Marquet, the diverse menu showcases street food from around the world, with a selection of Arabic favourites, burgers, cocktails and Tex-Mex classics whipped up in a casual beachfront setting. Located on the promenade level of this sprawling resort, House of Desserts is home to some of Dubai’s finest artisan gelato. Atlantis The Royal’s lobby is anchored around The Royal Tearoom, where guests are met with towering fish tanks and a dramatic mirrored sculpture representing the first raindrop in the desert.
