The day we’ve been waiting eight years for has finally arrived, as Atlantis The Royal throws open its doors today. This will be the first time those not invited to the resort’s Grand Reveal Weekend have been able to set foot inside the 795-room hotel boasting the world’s largest waterpark, a fountain of fire and water, and a vast swathe of private beach. 

However, it’s the collection of 17 restaurants and bars that will likely have gourmands flocking to Palm Jumeriah. So whether you want to dine with chef Heston Blumenthal or sip sundowners beside the 90-meter sky-high infinity pool, the restaurants at Atlantis The Royal offers something for everyone visiting Dubai’s regal resort.

Eight Celebrity Chefs

Ariana’s Persian Kitchen

Indulge in the exquisite flavours of Persian cuisine at Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, where the fragrant fruits, nuts, and flowers mingle with meats, grains, and vegetables reminiscent of a traditional Persian household. This female-led restaurant, created by TV chef and cookbook author Ariana Bundy, offers a fresh interpretation of classic Persian dishes, infusing traditional recipes with a modern twist. Inspired by family recipes passed down for generations, Ariana’s Persian Kitchen presents complex yet comforting flavours in a harmonious blend of textures, spices, and tastes, all accompanied by warm and gracious hospitality.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Of all the restaurants at Atlantis The Royal, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is the most anticipated. This one-of-a-kind restaurant, which has earned a reputation as a must-visit destination for food connoisseurs in London, offers an unforgettable journey through the culinary history of medieval Britain. Under the guidance of acclaimed chef Heston Blumenthal, diners are treated to a contemporary take on classic British cuisine that dates back to the 14th century. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s menu is a tribute to historical recipes and ingredients, expertly reimagined for the modern palate. Highlights include the Meat Fruit (a playful twist on chicken liver parfait) and the whimsical Tipsy Cake (a spit-roasted pineapple dessert).

Founded in Little Venice, West London, in 1999 by Mich Turner, a trailblazer in the baking industry, Little Venice Cake Company has continued to set the bar for couture cake design. Nobu By The Beach

Escape to a world of luxury and leisure at the world’s first Nobu-branded pool and beach club. The Royal Pool

At Food Marquet, the diverse menu showcases street food from around the world, with a selection of Arabic favourites, burgers, cocktails and Tex-Mex classics whipped up in a casual beachfront setting. It is here that you will find the wall of frozen slushies, allowing you to mix and match flavours from blueberry to peach until your heart’s content – watch out for the brain freeze.

Gastronomy

Gastronomy Restaurant is a day-to-night dining destination where guests can experience a world of culinary adventures. The lively atmosphere is reminiscent of a bustling food market such as Mercado de La Boqueria in Barcelona. It showcases a variety of live cooking stations that offer a diverse range of farm-to-table cuisine. With a focus on fresh ingredients, the all-you-can-eat buffet takes diners on a gastronomic journey around the world.

Malibu 90265

This Californian Diner brings a taste of the West Coast Americana to the selection of restaurants at Atlantis The Royal. With a menu of classic American dishes like burgers, hot dogs, rich chowders, lobster rolls and thick milkshakes, it’s a casual place for a comforting meal. Watch as chefs prepare your meal from the open kitchen or take a seat at the counter, where staff dressed in 1960s uniforms are more than happy to give recommendations.

House of Desserts

Located on the promenade level of this sprawling resort, House of Desserts is home to some of Dubai’s finest artisan gelato. The gelato’s quality results from diligent ingredient selection, skilled craftsmanship, and an innovative and scientific approach to preparation. The one decision for guests, however, is which flavour to pick.

Sea Lounge

Ideal for those wanting to avoid having breakfast with the crowds of hotel guests, Sea Lounge is Atlantis The Royal’s Club Lounge equivalent. The relaxed and informal setting on the hotel’s lower level epitomises business chic, with its competent breakfast offering and tempting tea-time snacks.

The Royal Tearoom

Atlantis The Royal’s lobby is anchored around The Royal Tearoom, where guests are met with towering fish tanks and a dramatic mirrored sculpture representing the first raindrop in the desert. Tuck into all-day light bites or an indulgent afternoon tea from renowned Pastry Chef Christophe Devoille.
