Catering to eco-conscious travellers, the new property will debut in Ras Al Khaimah in early 2025.

Calling all explorers — if wellness programmes, zero-waste dining, and taking in art installations sound like your idea of leisure, this one’s for you. Experiential hospitality group Earth Hotels, a design-conscious hotel group for the ‘Earthly’ traveller, has announced that it will open the first of its GCC-based properties in early 2025: Earth Shore, Marjan Island.

Located in Ras Al Khaimah, it will offer state-of-the-art rooms, a sustainable approach to building, and an escape that inspires the adventurer within. The properties by Earth Hotels are designed to be softer on the environments they inhabit through careful consideration of construction methods, material selection, and energy conservation. Earth Shore, Marjan Island is currently being developed to reach an area of 300,000 square feet and 265 keys — resort rooms, GOAT terrace suites, and two-bedroom Sky Villas included. 

The trendy destination will have direct beachfront access, a 13,000-square-feet social hub “sticky lounge”, and a signature stylish beach club with a dining and event space for up to 500 people. Earth Shore, Marjan Island will also offer visitors a range of lifestyle experiences such as farm-to-table dining, cooking classes, pop-up shops supporting local talent, family activities, wellness programmes, and more by working with leading partners in entertainment, nightlife and fitness. Guests will be able to enjoy both outdoor activities (like electric motorbikes and mountain climbing) and indoor activities (think: CrossFit, Muay Thai, and yoga). 

Additional expansion within the UAE and Saudi Arabia is planned over the next two to three years, with properties coming up in Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, and Riyadh.
