The World Islands are out of this world. The megaproject is located off the shores of Dubai, and the development draws inspiration from countries around the world, with different hotels showcasing different cultures. Now, Hotel London is set to open in The Heart of Europe.
The Heart of Europe is home to a range of concepts which bring to life Europe. The islands are approximately 25 minutes by boat from Dubai’s coast. Hotel London is a five-star boutique hotel, which aims to bridge the 4,371-mile gap between the River Thames and Dubai. The hotel includes 96 rooms, and luxury facilities including a panoramic rooftop infinity pool with views of the Dubai skyline.
At Hotel London, guests can enjoy English-themed events, food and drinks. There will be an English pub, a James Bond-themed bar and a grand ballroom for up to 500 guests. Plus, there will be a garden and shops inspired by London’s famous shopping areas.
Developed by Kleindienst Group, the Heart of Europe is also home to the world’s first-ever climate-controlled street that rains on demand. The other hotels include the soon-to-open InterContinental Resort Portofino, which will feature Italian times on the clocks and Italian restaurants and the Middle East’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel. Marbella Resort, an IHG Vignette Collection Hotel, will boast 150 keys, Andalusian-inspired design, underwater living experiences, and a coral institute dedicated to marine ecosystem preservation. Plus, voco Monaco Dubai is an adults-only hotel that includes weekly pool parties.
Elsewhere, you’ll soon be able to visit Venice without setting foot on a plane. Floating Venice will feature traditional gondolas, marine life and underwater villas with floor-to-ceiling windows.
