Atlantis The Royal will open The Garden Bar, a new open-air lounge set within the resort’s landscaped grounds.
The Royal Pool will gain a new family pool, additional sunbeds, in-pool loungers and air-conditioned cabanas.
Cloud 22 is being reconfigured with a relocated Lotus Bar and space for 40 additional sunbeds.

Atlantis Dubai has become something of a hospitality institution in the city, with its two resorts, Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal. The latest round of updates brings changes to the brand, including a brand-new outdoor bar and a revamped pool area at Atlantis The Royal.
At Atlantis The Royal, the headline addition is The Garden Bar, a new open-air lounge set among the resort’s landscaped gardens. Designed as a relaxed social space, the bar will offer guests another spot to eat, drink and unwind outdoors, with additional seating and panoramic views across the resort. The daytime-to-evening concept adds a more casual option to Atlantis The Royal’s extensive line-up of restaurants and bars, which already includes CARBONE and Estiatorio Milos.
The resort’s Royal Pool is also being upgraded with new family-friendly facilities. A new family pool will be added, along with about 60 additional sunbeds, three in-pool loungers, and three air-conditioned cabanas. The expansion is designed to give families more space and flexibility for day-long pool visits.
Named ‘Best Swimming Pool in Dubai’ at the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards 2026, Cloud 22 is being reconfigured to increase its poolside capacity. Soaring 96 meters above Palm Jumeirah, the skyline venue offers a 90-meter infinity pool with panoramic views of the Palm islands. As part of the refresh, The Insta-worthy Lotus Bar will move to the opposite side of the venue, allowing the existing space to be transformed into a larger sun deck, accomodating 40 more sunbeds.
Over at Atlantis, The Palm, Plato’s Lounge is expanding into the resort’s main lobby. The refreshed space will feature a new terrace balcony, more than double the original seating capacity and a cascading water feature. Ossiano is also undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment.
Beyond the resorts, Aquaventure World has undergone extensive refurbishment across the waterpark and is preparing to introduce Poseidon’s Village. The new dining destination will feature almost 400 indoor seats and nearly 300 outdoor seats, making it the waterpark’s largest dining venue.
Of all the upcoming changes at Atlantis Dubai, The Garden Bar and Royal Pool upgrades at Atlantis The Royal are perhaps the most anticipated. Together, these additions reinforce the resort’s focus on outdoor leisure, creating more places for guests to slow down, socialise and make the most of their stay.
