The offshore resort is expected to be completed within two years.
When it comes to iconic hotels, Dubai doesn’t mess around. From the ultra-luxurious Atlantis The Royal to Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, the city knows how to roll out the hospitality red carpet. Now, the emirate is preparing to unveil Buddha-Bar Hotel Dubai.
Conceived as a destination where island living meets immersive hospitality, the project weaves together the Buddha-Bar Hotel in the region, a collection of Floating Residences and the signature Buddha-Bar Beach. First announced at Arabian Travel Market in April 2025, the AED 3 billion development is slated for completion in 2027.

At the heart of the destination is the Buddha-Bar Hotel Dubai, offering 162 keys with an entire floor dedicated to branded residences. Interiors express the brand’s DNA through a blend of Far Eastern references and contemporary lines, using deep reds, gold accents, Asian motifs, chandeliers and sculptural statements. Guests can expect curated soundscapes and globally influenced dining rooted in Pacific Rim flavours. A serene spa will pair Eastern rituals with modern therapies to deliver restorative results. Expect to see natural materials and tech-infused within the design.
Buddha-Bar Beach will serve as the social epicentre of the islands. Open day and night, the restaurant, lounge and beach club will move to an easy rhythm of sunrise yoga, leisurely beachside brunches and sunset sets by world-class DJs that evolve into late-night parties. Facilities include a landscaped pool, an adults-only infinity pool, sunken lounge seating, private cabanas, and direct beach access.

Extending the experience beyond the shoreline, 24 adjacent Floating Residences by Buddha-Bar will be moored over coral-rich waters. Each three-level, 4,000-square-foot home sleeps up to eight guests and is designed around the sea. The rooftop level features a sun-drenched deck with a jacuzzi and dining lounge. At sea level, floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a private deck with a king-size overwater hammock. Below the surface, two bedrooms are framed by living coral gardens for an immersive underwater view.
Currently, the Buddha Bar brand operates restaurants in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. Plus, existing hotels are located in Armenia and the Czech Republic.
