The Wolseley Hospitality Group will open hotels in the Middle East.

London’s iconic restaurant brands, The Wolseley and Colbert, will be transformed into hotel brands. Minor Hotels is working with the Wolseley Hospitality Group and will launch four new hotel brands. The Colbert Collection is set to open in the Middle East, although the exact location has not yet been confirmed.

The Wolseley Hotels brand will be rooted in the heritage of the restaurant in Piccadilly, London, blending British elegance with European flair and global influence. The Colbert Collection will be a global collection of high-end independent hotels and is aimed at travellers who have a passion for food. The original restaurant can be found in Sloane Square, London, and the outdoor terrace is the perfect place for people-watching.

Colbert

At the heart of The Colbert Collection will be the restaurant, Colbert. The concept is inspired by the boulevard cafés of Paris and offers an informal neighbourhood experience in the heart of Chelsea. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Ian Di Tullio, Chief Commercial Officer at Minor Hotels, said: “We have meticulously crafted each new brand to capture specific opportunities in the market, enabling us to meet the evolving needs of modern travellers and owners alike. By expanding our brand offering to address new segments, we are empowering our partners, delighting our guests and accelerating our global growth strategy.”

Colbert

Today, Minor currently owns and operates more than 560 hotels across 57 countries. By 2027, it aims to expand its portfolio to 850 properties.
