Dubai’s fitness calendar is getting another major workout. HYROX Dubai 2026 has officially been confirmed, with the global fitness competition returning to the UAE from Friday, 27 to Saturday, 28 November 2026.
The two-day event will welcome athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across the region, putting speed, stamina and strength to the test through HYROX’s distinctive combination of running and functional exercise.
Unlike traditional road races or CrossFit competitions, HYROX uses the same race format worldwide. Participants complete eight one-kilometre runs, with each running section followed by a functional workout station. The sequence creates an eight-kilometre race punctuated by demanding exercises that challenge different areas of the body.
Those familiar with HYROX will know that the workout stations include SkiErg, sled pushes, sled pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carries, sandbag lunges and wall balls. It is a format designed to reward well-rounded athletes rather than specialists, requiring competitors to balance cardiovascular fitness with power and muscular endurance.
Part of HYROX’s growing appeal is its accessibility. While elite athletes compete for fast finishing times, the event is also geared towards everyday gym-goers looking for a fresh challenge.
