The three new night swimming beaches, located in Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3 and Umm Suqeim 1, have undergone significant upgrades to ensure the safety and comfort of swimmers. Lighting systems have been installed to enable swimming 24 hours a day, catering to those who prefer to avoid the scorching daytime heat.
Safety is of the utmost importance and Dubai Municipality has taken measures to guarantee a safe experience. Qualified lifeguards equipped with state-of-the-art rescue and emergency equipment will be stationed at the Dubai night beaches, ready to respond to any situation. Electronic screens placed on the beach display content aimed at increasing safety awareness among night beachgoers, ensuring they have a pleasant and secure experience. Dubai Municipality also recommends that beachgoers stay within designated swimming zones, keep a close eye on children and adhere to all beach rules and regulations.
Previously, night swimming was also permitted at Al Mamzar Beach but with the new openings, more and more people can enjoy the water.
