Football fans, we have some exciting news. A new attraction celebrating the sporting star, Lionel Messi, is coming to the United Arab Emirates. Opening on 23 May, The Messi Experience in Dubai offers an immersive day out, and you can pre-register for tickets now.
Spanning more than 2,500 square metres, The Messi Experience at Dubai Festival City is a family-friendly experience. Budding footballers will enjoy the interactive elements, which allow you to test your football skills. When you enter, you create your own profile and then begin the interactive journey. Messi will guide you through the experience, and it’s filled with one-of-a-kind games.
The Messi Experience in Dubai includes nine different themed zones, which reflect Messi’s own life. The venue recreates his childhood bedroom, and the FIFA World Cup victory parade. At the end, you can take a selfie with the footballer, thanks to the powers of AI. Plus, there is a food and drinks area, and a store with official merchandise.
Messi explained: “I am very happy to be part of this project that allows fans to get closer to my journey on and off the field. Throughout my career, I have always strived to inspire and connect with people through my passion for football. This experience will offer a unique opportunity to relive the most memorable moments and feel the emotions that have shaped my path.”
Messi is no stranger to the region. In 2021, he was featured on promotional posters for the Riyadh Season, and Cirque du Soleil created a special show celebrating the footballer for the festival. In 2022, he was declared Saudi Arabia’s brand ambassador, and made visits across the Kingdom.
