The creative scene in Dubai is getting a major new addition with CMPLX, a lifestyle destination opening in Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz in late 2026. Bringing together food, coffee, wellness, retail and culture, the new hub is designed to become one of Dubai’s top destinations for creatives, entrepreneurs and food lovers.
Spanning more than 3,000 square metres, CMPLX comprises seven curated warehouse spaces connected by a landscaped public courtyard. Rather than operating as standalone venues, the development has been designed to create a community where dining, shopping, wellness and creativity naturally intersect.
Inspired by industrial architecture, the warehouses feature exposed materials, double-height ceilings and mezzanine levels, while staggered buildings maximise natural light and create shaded walkways. The central courtyard, complete with greenery, outdoor seating and communal spaces, encourages visitors to spend the day exploring everything the destination has to offer.
Visitors can expect a carefully curated mix of restaurants and cafes, a specialty coffee roastery, wellness concepts, independent retail stores and creative studios, alongside a rotating program of pop-ups, cultural activations and a dedicated events venue for exhibitions, performances and creative collaborations.
One of the first confirmed openings is Hikiniku To Come, the acclaimed Japanese restaurant known for its premium wagyu hamburger steaks. The Tokyo favourite has built a loyal following with its charcoal-grilled wagyu patties, unlimited rice cooked in traditional hagama pots, and a menu centred on perfecting a single signature dish.
Other concepts coming to CMPLX include Dawn, a boutique studio, Fragment, a specialty coffee roastery and Neighbors, an all-day restaurant and bakery.
