Global Village returns for its 31st season, opening on 14 October 2026 and running until May 2027. The multicultural destination has become a fixture of the UAE’s cooler months, welcoming families, food lovers and culture seekers from across the region. With an eight-month calendar that extends through Ramadan and Eid, Global Village promises more entertainment, more flavours and more reasons to visit.
What started in 1997 as a handful of kiosks in a Dubai Creek Park car park has grown into one of the city’s most popular attractions. After early years at Creek Park, Global Village shifted to Oud Metha near Wafi City in 2001, drawing larger crowds than the initial 500,000 visitors recorded at its first home. In 2005, it moved to a permanent site in Dubailand and has been expanding ever since. Last season welcomed a record 10.5 million guests, a remarkable figure that sets the bar for the year ahead.
Across the park, cultural pavilions showcase crafts, cuisine and products from more than 90 countries. Visitors can graze on street food favourites, discover handmade accessories and homeware, and browse herbs, spices and teas that capture the spirit of their countries of origin. Daily cultural performances bring each pavilion to life, offering an easy way to hop between traditions and time zones in a single evening.
Beyond the souk-style strolls, Global Village is known for live entertainment on its main stage. Previous editions have featured chart-toppers and regional icons, including Amr Diab, Atif Aslam and Tinie Tempah. The full lineup for this season will be revealed soon, and expectations are high. Families can also make a beeline for Carnaval, the park’s colourful hub of rides and games for all ages, from toddler-friendly carousels to thrill rides that light up the night.
With the weather cooling and festive weekends on the horizon, Global Village’s 31st edition arrives at just the right time. Tickets are expected to go on sale next month, so gather your group, lace up your trainers and plan a visit that blends culture with crowd-pleasing fun.
