The Royal Tearoom at Atlantis The Royal has unveiled a refreshed take on Christophe Devoille’s acclaimed afternoon tea. Set in the hotel’s lobby overlooking the Skyblaze Fountain, the experience is designed for lingering afternoons, with 11 sweet and savoury bites, a bespoke mocktail, unlimited hot beverages and a takeaway gift. Enjoy elegant tartlets, elevated finger sandwiches, seasonal pastries and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and homemade preserves. You can also choose from 25 AVANTCHA teas, while Devoille’s menu highlights local ingredients, including honey, pollen and raspberries from UAE producers.

The FACT Award-winning Miss Lily’s is turning up the Caribbean vibes with its new Steak and Fries special. Available as an April promotion, the offer features a 200g Australian striploin served with endless fries, a garden salad, and your choice of sauce for AED 95. Options include jerk sauce, pineapple Scotch bonnet, jerk mushroom, veal jus and Jamaican chimichurri, bringing a lively island twist to a classic steak night. Guests can also add an extra 100g of steak for AED 45. There is a jerk chicken option for AED 60, while bottles of red or white wine cost AED 100.

What began as a day spent harvesting produce has evolved into one of the season’s most interesting culinary collaborations. This April, Lila and Khadak join forces for Lila x Khadak: Two Cultures, One Shared Love of Spice, a four-hands dining experience that explores the unexpected links between Mexican and Indian cuisines. Taking place on 22 April at Lila Molino and 23 to 24 April at Khadak, the offering features off-menu creations such as Jalapeño Tepache Panipuri, Kulcha Fundido, Paneer Khurchan Quesadilla, and Cashew & Raisin Mole with Roasted Cauliflower. Desserts include Saffron Flan and Churros with Brown Butter Custard. Priced at AED 185, with optional house-ferment pairings for AED 100.

The experience centres on a three-course menu, including a soda or kombucha. Dishes include Grouper Nuggets topped with Prunier Oscietra caviar, Tuna Pizza and a Hatta Honey Dessert. Rooted in sharing and generosity, the collaboration pairs Prunier’s French caviar heritage with Kraken’s more informal, ingredient-led approach.

Café du Port has opened at Dubai Harbour, bringing a chic French-Mediterranean café concept to the waterfront. Inspired by the café terraces of the Côte d’Azur, the menu includes pastries, omelettes, healthy bowls, quiche, homemade juices and sweet signatures such as croissant perdu. Designed for relaxed mornings, whether that means coffee on the roof deck, breakfast before work, or a quick takeaway en route to the office.
