Get your calendars out – exhilarating adventures, brunch and culture await.

Dubai’s weekend calendar is packed with reasons to get out of the house. Across three days, the city is serving up theatrical spectacles, new food concepts, complimentary wellness sessions and interactive adventures. You can laugh along with one of India’s rising comedy stars, race through a real-life video game, tuck into an Uzbek Sunday feast or watch some of the world’s most daring acrobats take flight. Whether you want dinner, drama or something completely different, these are the best things to do in Dubai from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September.

    Friday 18 September

Bite into a pop culture-inspired Burger

    Eleven Green Pulp Fiction Burger

Cult burger spot Eleven Green is giving its September Drop of the Month a cinematic twist with a creation inspired by Pulp Fiction. The Royale with Cheese features a juicy Wagyu beef patty layered with melted cheese and a subtle spicy kick, all tucked inside Eleven Green’s signature house-made bun. Fans with a bigger appetite can upgrade to the Double Royale, which doubles both the Wagyu and cheese. Available across the brand’s Dubai locations for one month only, the limited-edition burger taps into movie nostalgia while sticking to the stripped-back, indulgent formula that has made Eleven Green one of the city’s most talked-about burger names.

    Try Dubai’s new one-bun, one-brew concept

    SHUKR Dubai

Sometimes simplicity makes the strongest statement. New Dubai delivery concept SHUKR focuses on just two things: a Filipino ensaymada and a signature coffee designed specifically to accompany it. Co-founded by hospitality veteran Panchali Mahendra and airline pilot Rashed Yakhlef, the online bakehouse has developed its hero pastry with Atelier House Hospitality’s Group Head Pastry Chef Carol Contreras. Soft, buttery and generously topped with finely shredded cheese, the ensaymada balances sweet and savoury to startling effect. The accompanying SHUKR coffee has been created to complement those flavours, making this an appealing new option for breakfast, afternoon cravings or an indulgent weekend delivery.
