Singer Layla Kardan expands Contrast Wellness in Dubai
The holistic space is heading to City Walk.
UAE-based Layla Kardan, renowned for her soulful singing, boasts a diverse range of talents. Collaborating with her husband, Hamdan Al Khafaji, she has ventured into the realm of wellness with the launch of Contrast Wellness in Dubai. Following the successful opening of the first branch on Palm Jumeirah, they are now expanding with a second branch at City Walk.
Contrast Wellness aims to revive the mind, body and spirit. The concept blends together innovation and relaxation and focuses on holistic treatments. Plus, the wellness centre is a stylish spot, and visitors are encouraged to come along with their friends.
The Social Contrast Room’s features range from an ice bath to traditional Finnish sauna. The Contrast Hydro Room includes hot magnesium baths and ice baths, which offer a change in temperature to increase the heart rate and remove lactic acid as well as toxins. The Remedy Room offers targeted therapies, from IV drips tailored to individual needs the Normatec Compression Therapy.
Hamdan Al Khafaji, co-founder of Contrast Wellness, explained: “We believe that prioritising wellness is essential for overall progress in every facet of life. Layla Kardan is best known in the UAE as the founder of the jazz clubs Papillon and Penelope’s Jazz Bar. In 2021, Papillion launched in The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina and put on dinner and a show. In 2022, she followed it up with Penelope’s, which brought a touch of the Cote D’Azure to Abu Dhabi.
Contrast Wellness in City Walk is offering new customers an introductory pass. For AED 299, guests can use a three-session, all-access pass.
