You’ll find the latest location of this small shop tucked away on the ground floor of Binghatti Onyx Tower in JVC. While unassuming from the outside, this gentleman’s grooming paradise lacks in stature but more than makes up for it in execution. The space, designed as an ode to the great outdoors by Fadi Sarieddine, one of Dubai’s acclaimed multidisciplinary designers, greets us with an emanating warmth from the staff the moment we enter the shop, with its woodgrain panelling, potted cacti, and shelves stocked with grooming products.
With just four chairs, the Bô Barbershop experience feels personalised and bespoke, largely thanks to the team of affable barbers. Mikael, Hashem, Nikita and a brilliant barista who welcome customers like old friends and ensure the mood stays light and banter-fuelled.
Seated upon a tan coloured Belmont chair while sipping speciality coffee, we feel pampered before the barbering experience has begun. Our barber for the day is the charismatic Mikael, and we find ourselves at ease as we undergo a skilful skin fade and beard trim with immaculate precision.
Bô Barbershop JVC offers a complete grooming experience for the modern man, bringing together precision haircuts, beard tune-ups, combined hair and beard packages, nose and ear waxing, hair and scalp treatments, and men’s facials. Yet Bô Barbershop excels at offering quality and simplicity. Haircuts and beard treatments are offered, with a separate room hidden behind frosted glass panels launching soon for manicures and pedicures. The name Bô takes inspiration from the co-owners’ initials, Bilal and Oliver, whose client-barber relationship gradually grew into a firm friendship and, later, a business.

From the emphasis on natural and organic products to the gestures and placement of towels, the male grooming experience can be likened to the service sequence at an upmarket restaurant.
