Dubai’s ICD Brookfield Place welcomes new culinary concepts
The concepts include Bar des Prés, Il Gattopardo and 1920.
ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai is fast becoming a dining destination. The venue is already home to culinary heavyweights including Josette, La Niña and The Guild. Now, it is set to welcome new food and drink concepts including Bar des Prés, Il Gattopardo and 1920.
The global restaurant group D.ream is behind the expansion of Bar des Prés and Il Gattopardo, which will be located on the 51st floor. The new Art Deco bar 1920 will join the collection and will be located on the 52nd floor.
Mr. Ferit Sahenk, Founder and Chairman of D.ream, explained: “These exciting concepts will cater to the dynamic clientele of Dubai, offering a perfect blend of innovative design, world-class culinary experiences and exceptional service. We are confident that they will become not only sought-after destinations for our loyal clients, but significant additions to Dubai’s vibrant hospitality scene.”
Ben McGregor, Senior Vice President, Brookfield Properties, added: “Following an extensive global selection process, we are thrilled to announce the addition of one of the world’s premier F&B operators to deliver the final crowning piece of ICD Brookfield Place.”
Bar des Prés
Bar des Prés brings together East Asian and French influences. Chef Cyril Lignac is at the helm, and is famous in France for his restaurant Le Quinzieme, and his TV shows on channel M6. The Bar des Prés brand can already be found in London and Paris. Dishes include Green Asparagus with caramelised miso, Crunchy Crab and Avocado galette with madras, and Native Lobster Salad. Plus, the desserts pay homage to the chef’s time as a pastry chef.
Il Gattopardo
Il Gattopardo, inspired by the novel The Leopard, draws inspiration from Milan and Venice. Chef Massimo Pasquarelli, who was born and raised in Abruzzo, Southern Italy, will be at the helm. The menu showcases Italian classics with a modern twist. Dishes range from Sicilian Mazara Prawns to Stracciatella Agnolotti. Whether you’re after a long lunch or a late-night spot, it offers a day-to-night experience. The entertainment will include resident DJs.
1920
Spanning more than 8,500 square feet, 1920 aims to transport you back in time. Inspired by Manhattan skyscrapers from the 1920s, the bar boasts views across the city. Plus, Spanish designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán is behind the interiors.
Bar des Prés, Il Gattopardo and 1920 are scheduled to open in late 2024.
