Ramadan in the UAE is synonymous with community, tradition, and the tents that pop up across the country. This year, Sharjah is elevating the experience with the return of Alsimrah, billed as the largest Ramadan tent in Sharjah.
Set within Aljada, the expanded 2026 edition will welcome guests from Wednesday 18 February 2026, offering a polished take on Emirati and wider Middle Eastern hospitality, with Iftar and Suhoor experiences available to reserve online. The name itself is inspired by the Emirati tradition of simrah, which means gathering together — and that is exactly what the tent aims to encourage.
This year’s set-up is bigger by design. In addition to a mezzanine floor and outdoor seating, Alsimrah’s total capacity has increased to 590 guests, creating a more flexible layout for families, friends, and group gatherings throughout the Holy Month. At the heart of the experience is a 40-metre-long Iftar buffet priced at AED 220 per person, inclusive of Ramadan beverages. For those dining later, the suhoor buffet is priced at AED 175 per person and includes Ramadan beverages, with a live station and a dedicated hospitality reception desk. Children aged seven to 12 can enjoy Iftar for AED 110.
For guests seeking added privacy, the VIP Private Majlis package accommodates up to 12 guests and has a minimum spend of AED 3,500.
Beyond the buffet, Alsimrah Ramadan tent in Sharjah leans into culture-led programming, with a calendar of activities designed to complement the atmosphere. Expect traditional storytelling sessions, live oud and qanun performances, Arabic calligraphy, and henna artistry.
