UAE homegrown brand The Giving Movement launches a Ramadan Collection

The line includes stylish modest wear for men and women.

We love homegrown brands at FACT. So, we are excited to hear that the UAE’s The Giving Movement has launched a new Ramadan collection. The line combines sleek designs with luxurious fabrics to create marvellous modest wear.

The Giving Movement Ramadan collection covers men and women’s wear. The women’s collection includes across a beige, brown, cream and white palette, plus pastel colours. Clothing includes satin shirts and trousers with tassels, oversized printed shirts, and high neck angel sleeve dresses. Plus, stylish abayas and kaftans.

The Giving Movement was founded by Dominic Nowell-Barnes. After moving to the UAE in 2017, he was motivated to use fashion as a vehicle of positive change and launched the e-commerce brand in 2020. The company aims to alter the way fashion is consumed while shedding light on conscious consumerism.

The brand is famous for its sustainable athleisure wear, which covers everything from sweatpants to sweatshirts. The company puts its intentions on its sleeves, as many of the garments are emblazoned with the brand’s name in a bold, stylish print. Plus, there is a trendy selection of modest wear.

If you’re a shopaholic, you don’t have to feel guilty when buying items. With every item you purchase, AED 15 is donated to the charities Dubai Cares and Harmony House. To date, the company have donated more than $2.4 million.

In the summer of 2022, The Giving Movement opened its first stall in Mall of the Emirates. The store showcases the company’s ready-to-wear collection, Fifty Made, and its first footwear line. The footwear is bio-based, which means that it comes from renewable materials, so you’ll look good while doing good.

Ramadan Kareem.
