Hollywood actress Sofia Vergara has been spotted in Riyadh

The Modern Family star watched a football match in the capital.

Hollywood star Sofia Vergara can call Saudi Arabia her second home. Not only has been starred in a promotional video for Via Riyadh, but she has been spotted in the capital. The actress was seen at a football match between Paris Saint-Germain and an all-star team composed of Al Nassr and Al Hilal players, which included Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Sofia shared an image on Instagram, and the caption read: “Game night PSG Al Nassr”. She shared images before, during and after the match. She was seen wearing a bright yellow jacket, white top and blue jeans. 

Sofia shared snaps from her stay, which include eating kabsa in a restaurant and her hotel. She ate at Beirut Khanum in Boulevard Riyadh. During her stay, she also met with the Saudi stylist and entrepreneur Aram Kabbani. 

Sofia fails from Columbia. She is best known for starring in Modern Family as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett. She has starred in the films The Smurfs, New Year’s Eve, Chef and Happy Feet 2. She was also a judge on American’s Got Talent. Over her career, she has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards. 

Sofia is not the only celebrity in town right now. Legendary footballer and Saudi Tourism brand ambassador Lionel Messi has been spotted in Riyadh with his family. The group enjoyed an authentic Saudi breakfast, and were introduced to the endangered Arabian Gazelle. Plus, Riyadh resident Cristiano Ronaldo is often seen at the capital’s hottest restaurants.
