Mona Kattan joins the cast of Dubai Bling season two

Everything you need to know about the second season of Netflix’s smash hit.

Hold onto your diamonds. Dubai Bling season two is landing on Netflix, and we are buzzing with excitement. A new cast member has been announced: Mona Kattan Elamin, co-founder of Huda Beauty. Plus, we’re hoping that the previous ten cast members return, which included entertainers, influencers and socialites.

While the date for Dubai Bling season two has not yet been confirmed, here’s what we know so far. Beauty entrepreneur Mona revealed on her Instagram account that she is starring in the show. The US-born Iraqi businesswoman is based in Dubai, and started the successful cosmetics line with her sister.

Rumour has it that Saudi comedian Amy Roko was part of the original line-up. The social media sensation has more than 1.6 million followers on Instagram and has a distinctive look with stylish face coverings and eye-make up. Reports state that she felt uncomfortable with the romantic storyline, which led to her departure from the show.

We are expecting lots of luxurious locations in Dubai Bling season two. We spotted the cast filming at locations ranging from Atlantis The Royal to a Charlotte Tilbury party. If you want to make like the stars, check out our guide to all of the locations that featured in Dubai Bling season one.

Dubai Bling introduced us to some of Dubai’s biggest characters. The original cast included Virgin Radio’s Kris Fade and his wife Brianna Fade; and Emirati locals DJ Bliss and his wife Danya Mohammed; Saudi Arabian TV host, Lojain Omran; and CEO of a luxury real estate agency, Zeina Khoury.

Dubai Bling season one was so popular, not just in the UAE but across the world. The show was the first Arabic reality TV show to reach the top 10 list in 47 countries. The series bought to life the luxurious world of dresses, dinners and a whole lot of drama. Viewers went on a rollercoaster of emotions, from a physical fight between Danya and Zeina to Kris and Brianna’s romantic wedding.

If you can’t wait for Dubai Bling season two, check out our interviews with the original cast and their filming highlights. Ebraheem Al Samadi, owner of Forever Rose and Forever Rose Café, shared: “The best part of filming is that I got a friend out of it. It’s the mother that gave birth to the fellow Dubai Bling star Diva Dee”. Sada Siddiqui, influencer, added: “I love dressing up, so also getting to do the hair and make-up was the most fun”.

Habibi, get ready to binge.

A sucker for a good story, if you invite Kohinoor to a gallery, comedy night, new restaurant, hiking trip, cycle ride, pool day or just about any activity, she’ll probably say yes – that is if she isn’t busy planning her next adventure.
