Mark your calendars for George Ezra’s return

The English singer-songwriter will perform at Coca-Cola Arena this October.

Coca-Cola Arena continues to be the definitive address for big-name artists live in concert – Alan Walker, 50 Cent and Justin Bieber are all set to perform at the venue in the coming months. As for the latest name to be announced? George Ezra. The English singer-songwriter and Brit Award winner will return to the UAE late this year, performing at Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, 21 October. Ticket prices start at AED 225 and are now available.

Concertgoers can expect exclusive performances from his renowned new album The Gold Rush Kid, including hit singles like “Anything for You” and “Green Green Grass” alongside “I Went Hunting”, his latest release. “The Gold Rush Kid? That’s me,” says Ezra of the title of his most intimate and autobiographical record to date. “It’s a character I’m looking to embody, to remind myself how I felt throughout the process of writing and recording these songs. Coming back off all the touring for the second album, I was really struck by what it was like to be away from the people you know and love for so long. You’ve also been away from day-to-day routine, from normality, so that reconnection is something worth pursuing. Go and check in with that person.”

After rising to fame in 2014 with the release of his hit singles “Shotgun” and “Budapest”, George Ezra has gone on to release three studio albums and receive a number of awards – the Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist in 2019 included. Incidentally, Ezra’s performance at Coca-Cola Arena will follow his biggest headline show to date, a special all-day event at London’s Finsbury Park on 17 July.
