IGY Marinas aims to make Neom’s Sindalah a luxury yachting destination

The marina will become a must-visit for the world’s yachting community.

Saudi Arabia’s Neom is one of the kingdom’s most ambitious megaprojects. One of the area’s developments includes Sindalah Island, which will be a luxurious location with hotels, shops and restaurants. Now, IGY Marinas has announced that it will develop and operate the marina at Sindalah.

Sindalah aims to become an iconic destination for the world’s yachting community. The maritime facility will include 86 berths for yachts of up to 50 meters and serviced offshore buoys for superyachts of up to 180 meters.

Once completed, Sindalah will join IGY’s international superyacht marina network of 23 marinas across 12 countries, and the superyacht membership program IGY Trident. Plus, the area will include five-star hotels, from Four Seasons and the Luxury Collection by Marriott, and a golf course by the world-renowned designer, Robert Trent Jones.

Antoni Vives, Head of Urban Development at NEOM, explained: “Sindalah will be one of the most alluring and vibrant yachting destinations in the world, thanks to its strategic location, outstanding amenities and stunning natural landscapes. This partnership with IGY is one of many steps we are taking to achieve our vision of reshaping the global yachting calendar, with NEOM located one day’s cruising distance from the Mediterranean Sea.”

Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas, added: “Sindalah perfectly integrates with IGY’s global vision to connect the world’s most incredible yachting destinations across our growing marina network. The addition of NEOM to the IGY platform provides superyacht owners, captains and charter guests unrivalled destinations, service and convenience. IGY is tremendously excited about the opportunity to promote this amazing new destination to the international yachting community.”

Once Neom is complete, it will be the size of Belgium and sit north of the Red Sea coastline. The exciting developments also range from the world’s largest floating industrial complex to the $1.5 billion Neom Railway development will connect The Line with Oxagon.

Sindalah is expected to be the first completed development in Neom, and it is scheduled to open in early 2024.
