The Crown Prince shared a snap at the world-famous hotel.
Since Atlantis The Royal opened, it has welcomed world-famous guests including Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, and, of course, Dubai’s celebrity of the moment, Beyoncé Knowles. Now, it has welcomed one more: Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Hamdan visited Atlantis The Royal, which is located on Palm Jumeirah. The hotel posted on Instagram: “It was an honour to welcome Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, as he took in the stunning views from our Royal Mansion.”
Prior to Atlantis The Royal’s official opening, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE also visited the hotel.
Sheikh Hamdan is a big supporter of Dubai’s hotels, restaurants and sporting initiatives, and gives them the royal seal of approval on social media. On Instagram, the Crown Prince shares shots of himself at homegrown as well as celebrity restaurants. Plus, his account – @faz3 – has more than 14 million followers.
Eight years in the making, Atlantis The Royal threw open its doors at the start of the year to select list of celebrities, influencers and journalists (FACT Editor-in-Chief included). The region’s most anticipated hotel opening showcased a world of luxury and a performance from global megastar Beyoncé.
Dominating the Dubai skyline, Atlantis The Royal rises 43 storeys and 178 metres skywards, resembling a game of Tetris that has tumbled onto the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. The striking design was created by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
Atlantis The Royal is also home to a collection of 17 restaurants and bars that will likely have gourmands flocking to Palm Jumeriah. So, whether you want to dine with chef Heston Blumenthal or sip sundowners beside the 90-meter sky-high infinity pool, the hotel restaurants offers something for everyone visiting Dubai’s regal resort.
