Beirut’s Amar restaurant is coming to Cascade at Jeddah Walk

The Lebanese restaurant is making its debut in the city.

If you love Lebanese food, then we have some exciting news. Beirut’s much-loved Amar restaurant is coming to Jeddah. Located on the Cascade at Jeddah Walk, it will mark the brand’s debut in the city, and here’s what to expect.

Amar is popular in Beirut for its Lebanese food. The concepts include Amar Café in Downtown Beirut, Amar Seaside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and Amar Harissa in the Harissa Mountains. The restaurants all pride themselves on sourcing the best ingredients, and creating high-quality Lebanese food.

If the previous restaurant’s menus are anything to go by, we’re expecting there to be salads, hot and cold mezze, raw meat and grilled dishes. We’re talking fresh fish, grilled meat and vegetables. Plus, Amar’s popular desserts include brownies, chocolate fondant, knafeh, othmaliye and profiteroles.

So far, we know that Gregory Gatserelia will be behind the design for Amar restaurant in Jeddah. The Georgian designer was educated in France, and Lebanon’s Academie Libanaise des Beaux Arts. Plus, he has been praised by Architectural Digest as being one of the world’s greatest interior designers. His previous design hits include PLAY Dubai, and he has embraced a boudoir meets baroque style.

Other exciting new opens in Jeddah are taking place at Jeddah Yacht Club. The dining destination will include the Italian restaurant, Le Vesuvio; French restaurant, Le Comptoir de Nicole; Japanese restaurant Mashi No Mashi; and pizza place, Emmy Squared
