Rixos Obhur Jeddah: Inside Saudi Arabia’s first Rixos resort

The opening date for the development has been announced.

Saudi Arabia is filled with exciting hotel projects, from megaprojects in the Red Sea to the transformation of heritage sites. Rixos announced that it will be making its debut in the Kingdom. The hospitality brand will be opening Rixos Obhur Jeddah, and it will be located on Obhur Bay on the Red Sea. 

Rixos Obhur Jeddah has announced that it will open in late 2024. The brand aims to transform the Makarem Annakheel Village. The area will become a luxury resort with family-friendly, five-star facilities. The hotel will make the most of its location, and will be near the beach and plaza. 

Rixos Obhur Jeddah’s accommodation includes 247 guest rooms and 73 villas with private pools. The hotel will include a fine dining restaurant, two beach restaurants and a Club Prive lounge. Facilities include multiple pools, a spa for men as well as women, and indoor as well as outdoor fitness clubs. Plus, there will be a family-friendly water park and a kids’ and teenagers’ club. 

Dur Hospitality’s Chairman of the Board Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Issa, explained: “This partnership simultaneously contributes to developing the sector’s role in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 which inspires us to keep pace with the guests’ expectations and provide them with the latest premium hospitality products and services.”
