Aman Group launches lavish hotels at Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate

The two new Diriyah Gate hotels will feature the brand’s signature design.

Aman Group, known for its opulent hotels worldwide, is all set to take Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate development by storm with the launch of two new hotels. Taking a departure from Aman’s traditional approach of building hotels in remote, unique locations, these hotels will be surrounded by 36 lavish properties in the heart of Diriyah.

Aman Wadi Safar

Aman Wadi Safar boasts 78 keys and up to 34 fully-serviced residences, with a plethora of top-of-the-line amenities that will have you feeling like royalty. Indulge in the Aman Spa or delight your taste buds with a variety of dining options. You can also immerse yourself in rich cultural heritage as the hotel draws inspiration from traditional Najdi architecture and the natural environment.

Janu Diriyah

Janu Diriyah, Aman’s ‘trendier’ and slightly more affordable sister brand, will be the other Aman hotel to open at Diriyah Gate. With 120 hotel rooms, a luxurious spa, and multiple dining options, this hotel is situated just a stone’s throw away from the UNESCO Heritage Site of At-Turaif.

The new hotels at Diriyah Gate will feature the brand’s signature design language combined with the local culture, heritage, and landscape of the destination. Denniston Architects, the team behind the recently opened Aman New York, has been appointed to lead the design and construction.

Jerry Inzerillo, group CEO of Diriyah Company, shared: “Diriyah will be the world’s largest cultural and heritage destination and these projects will enhance our luxury offerings to guests who come to explore our identity.”

Vlad Doronin, chairman and CEO of Aman Group, added that the new hotels will offer an opportunity to experience Saudi Arabia in a way that encompasses city experiences, remote desert landscapes and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Aman Wadi Safar and Janu Diriyah are set to enhance the luxury hospitality landscape at Diriyah Gate, which is fast becoming one of the most exclusive destinations in the world. The heritage site, located outside Riyadh, will have a total of 36 hotels upon completion, with a focus on the luxury and upper-luxury segment of the market. Diriyah Gate’s spokesperson Talal Kensara said, “If you’re going to Riyadh and you want to stay in an ultra-luxury hotel, the place to do that will be Diriyah.”

Armani, Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Raffles, Rosewood and The Ritz-Carlton are among the luxury brands scheduled to open at Diriyah Gate. Fauchon will also open its first Fauchon Hotel in the Middle East.

With the announcement of these two properties, Diriyah Gate is set to become one of the most luxurious hospitality destinations in the world.
