The Dubai Food Festival is in full swing, and foodies from all across the UAE are heading to Dubai to try the culinary delights on offer. Among the variety of dining options, one name that stands out is Sumosan. Located within The Dubai EDITION hotel, Sumosan is offering diners two exclusive menus crafted specially for the festival.

Sumosan will present a curated selection of its signature dishes as part of the Dubai Restaurant Week — a subcategory of the Dubai Food Festival. This menu will feature Sumosan’s favourite appetisers such as the Mixed Baby Leaf Salad with French Beans, Chef Buba’s Secret Sesame Dressing, the Sea Bass Carpaccio with Yuzu Ponzu Sauce, Basil Oil, and Shichimi, and the Crispy Sushi Rice Salmon Furikake Pizza. For the mains, diners can enjoy the likes of Japanese Home-Baked Milk Bread Chicken Fillet Sando with Truffle Fries or the Black Angus Fillet with Yakiniku Sauce. For sushi lovers, the Chef’s Sushi Platter awaits. To round off this experience, Sumosan’s Mango & Passion Pavlova and the Sticky Date Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream, promise a sweet conclusion. Available from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 26 April to 12 May, 6pm onwards. AED 250 per person.

Sumosan Dubai Food Festival

The second exclusive menu by Sumosan is presented as part of the Chef’s Menu — another category within the Dubai Food Festival. This menu will see chefs showcasing the behind-the-scenes of crafting some of the restaurant’s most favourite dishes. Start with the Seared Wagyu Beef Tataki with Sesame Creme Sauce or the Toro Tartare with Oscietra Caviar and Tapioca Crackers. Then, move on to the Chef’s Sushi, Sashimi, and Maki Selection. For the main course, the Kobe Beef Ishiyaki or the 24-hour Miso Marinated Black Cod — a FACT-favourite — promise a fulfilling experience. And to conclude, Sumosan’s specially curated Chef’s Dessert Selection is on the agenda. Available from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 1 to 12 May, 6pm onwards. AED 460 per person.
