R&B star Ashanti is coming to Dubai – and ladies can attend for free

The event takes place at BLU Dubai in November.

The R&B singer Ashanti is making her way from America to the UAE. The hitmaker is coming to BLU Dubai on 19 November, and tickets are available now. If you’re a lady, you’re in luck, as the event is free for women and 100 AED for men.

Ashanti hails from New York, and was signed to Murder Inc Records. She first came onto the music scene with some killer collaborations, which include What’s Luv? with Fat Joe and Always on Time with Ja Rule. We’re hoping she performs those signature songs and her solo hits such as Foolish, Happy and Rock Wit U. She has sold more than 15 million records worldwide.

Over Ashanti’s career, she has gained critical and commercial success. She has won eight Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards and one Grammy Award. She recently announced she was working on re-recording her debut album, Ashanti, so that she can take ownership of her music. Plus, the new project is expected to include additional recordings. 

This isn’t Ashanti’s first time in the UAE. In 2022, she performed at F1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts in Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Park. At the event, she mesmerised the capital with her sultry voice and chart-topping back catalogue.
