The Greek electronic music star will headline a huge New Year’s Eve celebration at Dubai Harbour.

Dubai is lining up some serious celebrations for New Year’s Eve, and Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience has now revealed its headline act. Greek DJ and producer Argy will return to the open-air venue on Thursday, 31 December 2026, presenting his NEWORLD audiovisual concept as Dubai counts down to 2027.

The night will see Argy transform the Dubai Harbour venue through NEWORLD, his ambitious multisensory project combining electronic music, striking visuals and cinematic storytelling. Described as a “parallel world and shared spiritual gathering”, the concept has developed into a travelling electronic music spectacle since its launch, with previous editions reaching France, India, Türkiye and Tomorrowland.

NEWORLD leans into Argy’s increasingly distinctive visual universe. Hypnotic rhythms and soaring melodic techno are paired with large-scale production and psychedelic imagery, creating an experience designed to move between concert, club night and audiovisual performance. Dubai Harbour should provide a suitably dramatic backdrop, particularly as the show builds towards the midnight countdown.

Argy has become one of melodic techno’s most recognisable names in recent years. Born Argyris Theofilis in Rhodes, Greece, the producer has built an international following through releases including “Tataki”, “Voices In My Head” and “Aria” with Omnya. His work with the Afterlife label and collaborations with artists such as Anyma have also helped introduce his sound to a wider audience.

His momentum has continued throughout 2026. The artist made his Hï Ibiza residency debut alongside ARTBAT in May and also appeared twice during Anyma’s ÆDEN residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza. Argy will not be celebrating New Year’s Eve alone. Chloé Caillet, Hardt Antoine and Solance have also been confirmed for the New Year’s Eve line-up, turning the event into a full evening of electronic music before Argy leads the venue into 2027.

Argy joins a strong line-up of electronic music heavyweights confirmed for Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience this year. Black Coffee will open the venue’s third season on 24 October 2026, returning after two sold-out appearances in Dubai, before Swiss duo Adriatique bring their immersive X show back to the city on 14 November 2026. Later that month, Ukrainian duo ARTBAT will take over the venue on 28 November 2026 with their UPPERGROUND concept. With Argy now confirmed to close out 2026 with NEWORLD on New Year’s Eve, Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience is assembling another impressive season of large-scale electronic music events.
