The contemporary culture festival returns from 11 to 13 December 2026, with lineup announcements still to come.

Dubai’s sneakerheads, music lovers and streetwear enthusiasts have a date for their diaries. Sole DXB will return from 11 to 13 December 2026, setting the scene for another weekend celebrating contemporary culture in Dubai. Organisers have confirmed the dates on the festival’s official website, with further announcements to follow. While the 2026 lineup remains under wraps, previous editions offer plenty of reasons to pay attention.

For the uninitiated, Sole DXB 2026 sits at the intersection of music, fashion, art and sport. Its previous editions have combined live performances and DJ sets with talks, workshops, basketball tournaments and opportunities to discover independent labels. Long associated with Dubai Design District, the festival has become a meeting point for the communities shaping the city’s creative identity.

SOLE DXB 2026

Music remains a major draw, and the most recent edition set a high bar. The 2025 bill featured Kaytranada, Tyla and Miguel, alongside Lil Yachty, Loyle Carner, Pa Salieu and Tinariwen. Regional representation included Zeyne, Shabjdeed & Al Nather and FREEK, while previous editions have seen Aminé, Ari Lennox, Busta Rhymes, James Blake, Lupe Fiasco, Tems, The Roots, and Wu-Tang Clan take to the stage.

Away from the stages, fashion has long been central to the experience. Previous editions have featured Spotlight by d3, a showcase for independent fashion and lifestyle brands, alongside sneaker swaps and vintage shopping. These spaces give emerging labels visibility and offer visitors a chance to engage with the people and ideas behind what they wear. For a festival rooted in street culture, the conversations around clothing matter as much as the purchases.

SOLE DXB 2025

An integral part of the Sole DXB 2026 weekend is the talk program, featuring engaging discussions with influential figures from the worlds of fashion, music, publishing, and design. This year’s lineup of speakers is yet to be announced. However, previous editions have witnessed Karl Kani, the legendary figure renowned for outfitting Hip-Hop artists from Tupac to Quavo, BMX athlete and philanthropist Nigel Sylvester and much more.

Similarly, several sports events and activations are expected to be part of Sole DXB; however, the agenda for this year is yet to be announced. Previous versions saw Sole Ball Above All (SBAA), SKATE by Vice and many more. In a nod to Dubai’s skateboarding heritage, Sole DXB will revive the specially crafted 374-square-meter skate area.

SOLE DXB 2025

As always, Sole DXB 2026 will be bringing more homegrown F&B brands to the festival. Past editions of the festival have featured the likes of Chef Halawa, Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, Homer Lobster, Jailbird, Kitopi, Kooya, Mattar, Miss Lily’s DXB, Pickl, PINZA!, Project Chaiwala, Rascals, Seven Fortunes, West to West Kitchen, and Za Za.

Keep 11 to 13 December free, and stay tuned as the programme takes shape.
