Pickl team open Southpour Coffee at City Walk in Dubai

Enjoy locally roasted coffee with Burj Khalifa views.

The team behind the FACT Award-winning burger joint Pickl is expanding with the opening of Southpour Coffee in City Walk, Dubai. The acclaimed barista Maverick Santos will be at its helm, and the cafe will showcase locally roasted coffee. 

Southpour Coffee in Dubai will source coffee beans from Ethiopia and Uganda and blend them in Dubai. The menu also includes freshly baked pastries and freshly squeezed juices. The hot drinks include a Cortado, Long Black, and Spanish Latte. The fun-sounding cold drinks include Highjacked with carrot and pineapple, Shenanigans with celery, cucumber, coconut water, and lemon, and The Knockout with orange, ginger, and lemon. Plus, the drinks and pastries are served in eye-catching pink packaging with the brand’s red logo.

Southpour Coffee in Dubai includes indoor and outdoor seating, and an Insta-worthy view of the Burj Khalifa. The venue boasts an industrial chic design with grey walls, blue chairs, soft sofas and patterned cushions. Plus, there are black and white photos of Dubai on the shelves.

Pickl was founded by Steve Flawith and Nabil Al Rantisi in 2019, and is one of the most popular burger brands in the UAE. The beloved burger joint was also ranked fourth globally in the Deliveroo 100 Report, a list comprising the top-selling dishes that have been ordered most on the platform. Today, Pickl has venues across the UAE, from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah, and a drive through in Al Ain.
