Hey, Tiger is preparing to make its debut in Motor City with bold flavours, moody interiors and a bar-led concept.
Dubai is never short of new restaurants, but every so often, a concept arrives with enough intrigue to stand out before it even opens its doors. That is the case with Hey, Tiger, an upcoming Japanese-inspired restaurant and bar heading to Motor City. Backed by the team behind Brass Monkey, the new venue looks set to channel the same lively, sociable energy through a more design-conscious lens.
Positioned as a dining and social destination, Hey, Tiger is expected to blend food, drinks and atmosphere into one cohesive experience. The venue is set to lean into a dark, immersive aesthetic, with interiors imagined around rich red tones, industrial grey brick-style flooring and warm, low lighting. At the heart of the space will be a central bar, framed by wooden tables, stools and counter seating that encourage both casual drinks and longer evenings. The overall mood looks poised to strike a balance between urban edge and Japanese-inspired minimalism, creating a setting that feels intimate, contemporary and distinctly social.
On the culinary side, Hey, Tiger will focus on bold Asian flavours with a modern approach. Although the full menu has yet to be unveiled, early details suggest a line-up of Japanese-inspired dishes designed for sharing, alongside comforting, flavour-packed plates suited to a relaxed group setting. The drinks programme is also expected to play a major role in the concept, with the bar positioned as one of the venue’s defining features rather than a supporting element.
The restaurant’s Motor City address also gives the neighbourhood another talking point, particularly as the area continues to attract fresh lifestyle and hospitality concepts. Hey, Tiger will be housed inside Motor City Club House, which spans multiple levels and boasts a beautiful swimming pool with cabanas, sunbeds, and views over Dubai Autodrome.
An official opening date has not yet been confirmed, but Hey, Tiger is already shaping up to be one to watch in 2026.
