NŌMAKAI is a new Japanese supperclub launching soon in Dubai.
The opening date, location and menu have not yet been revealed.
The concept is developed by CLE & Partners.
The upcoming concept is bringing Japanese-inspired, experience-led dining to the city.
Dubai’s dining scene shows no signs of slowing down. From hidden chef’s tables and intimate tasting menus to members-style concepts and invite-only culinary gatherings, the city continues to embrace restaurants that offer more than dinner. Now, Nomakai is preparing to enter the conversation.
The new Japanese supperclub in Dubai is set to launch soon, although the opening date and location are still under wraps. What has been revealed is enough to spark interest among the city’s dining crowd. Nomakai is being developed by CLE Innovation Lab, part of CLE & Partners, and is positioned as a concept-driven addition to Dubai’s ever-expanding hospitality landscape.
Supperclubs have become increasingly popular in Dubai’s culinary culture, offering intimate settings, curated menus, and a stronger sense of storytelling than traditional restaurant formats. In the case of Nomakai, the focus will be on Japanese dining, where balance, seasonality and precision sit at the heart of the experience.
While full menu details have yet to be announced, Japanese supperclubs often centre around multi-course menus that celebrate premium ingredients, delicate presentation and umami-rich flavours. Think expertly prepared seafood, refined broths, charcoal-grilled dishes and subtle references to regional Japanese cooking. Nomakai looks set to bring that spirit to Dubai through a more immersive and exclusive format.
The project is backed by CLE Innovation Lab and CLE & Partners, which have been building a portfolio of hospitality concepts designed around food, design and lifestyle. Hospitality executive Yigit Sezgin is also involved through CLE & Partners, bringing industry experience and strategic direction to the launch.
Nomakai joins a wider line-up of upcoming and experimental concepts under the CLE & Partners umbrella, including BeatBAB, OmeBAB and Bottega di Valleria. Together, these projects reflect a growing appetite in Dubai for restaurants that feel personal, atmospheric and rooted in a clear creative identity.
For now, much about Nomakai remains a mystery, which is likely part of the appeal.
