Monday 29 January

Try a caviar degustation

Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara within the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah has unveiled its much-anticipated Caviar Menu. Tailored for those who appreciate life’s finer pleasures, this limited-edition offering presents a five-course degustation experience. Each course takes centre stage with the revered caviar, with highlight dishes such as Carabineros Prawns Carpaccio, Grilled Scallops, Caviar Tagliolini and Black Cod taking centre stage. The grand finale of this indulgent affair unfolds with Coconut ice cream topped with yoghurt foam and (you guessed it) caviar. Available daily until 17 March, from 6:30pm to 10pm. AED 2,500 per person.

Visit the Rascals Deli and Hello Kitty pop-up

It’s time to say Konnichiwa to the Rascals Deli Hello Kitty pop-up. The popular sandwich shop has drawn inspiration from the Japanese character, and following its successful pop-up at Sole DXB, it has expanded into Wasl Square until the end of the month. The windows include an eye-catching Hello Kitty image, drinks are served in pink cups with a Hello Kitty face, and biscuits come with Hello Kitty icing. Plus, there is special merchandise available with Rascals Deli and Hello Kitty branding, from bags to water bottles. Come for the statement sandwiches and stay for the Insta-worthy environment.

Witness an ethereal dinner show

DREAM’s innovative dinner show venue is ready to entertain Dubai diners as it celebrates its second anniversary. The “DREAM Encore” show is a spectacular compilation of the finest performances from the past two seasons, showcasing 15 showstopping performances. Experiential dining is pushed to the fore with a menu of Aubergine Parmigiana, Pan-Seared Scallops with Caviar, and Whole Salt-Baked Sea Bass. Available daily until 4 February, from 8pm. AED 1,000 per person minimum spend.

Try the new dishes at Honeycomb Hi-Fi

Honeycomb Hi-Fi, Dubai’s pioneer listening bar, has revealed some exciting new additions to its menu, curated by Executive Chef Matt Abergel. Among the enticing newcomers are the Akami Tuna Sashimi (AED 110) adorned with green chilli ponzu and cilantro, the Sweet Potato (AED 40) featuring ginger brown butter, and the piquant Dan Dan Noodles (AED 120) showcasing sesame chicken, cucumber, and cilantro. For those familiar with Honeycomb Hi-Fi’s signature fare, Chef Matt has reimagined the Mochi Stuffed Wings (AED 62) with an inventive blend of mushroom sticky rice and yuzu chilli salt, while the Duck Breast (AED 60) now tantalises taste buds with persimmon and yuzu honey.
