Amaru
Amaru is a new Latin American restaurant and bar at the entrance of Souk Madinat Jumeirah, designed for late nights fuelled by flavour, rhythm and a touch of theatre. Inspired by an Incan serpent-dragon, the space blends clay finishes, carved wood, a central bar that anchors the action, and an elevated galleria with its own bar and views over the room. Cocktails spotlight pisco and smoky mezcal alongside no- and low-alcohol “Sober Whispers”. The share-style menu moves from Peruvian ceviche to Brazilian moqueca, with a Chef’s Table tasting option for the full experience. Expect DJ-led sets and immersive visuals after dark.

The venue features a marble-top counter and a tapas menu built for grazing, with Marcona Almonds, White Anchovy Tostada, Pan con Tomate, and Prawn Croquetas, followed by Tortillas. Seafood leans into Gambas Rojas, Clams with Salsa Verde and Octopus a la Gallega, while mains include Chicken Thigh with Romesco and Rubia Gallega Rib Eye. Finish with Santiago Tart or Piña Catalana. Pair it with chilled cava or sherry and settle in for a Spanish-style feast at one of the best new restaurants in Dubai.

@factmagazine If you’re into calm, well-thought-out spaces with good food to match, OTHER in Dar Wasl is one to know. The design is bold and relaxed enough to stay longer than planned 🍽️😋 We went for dinner and it delivered. The beef tenderloin was the standout, the Caesar stayed classic and fresh, and the tiramisu sealed it. We also tried the caviar hot dog and it’s one to order. #otherdubai #daralwasl #jumeirahrestaurants #newrestaurant #dubaifoodie ♬ original sound – Fact Magazine
