Kris Fade is swapping the studio for the pass. The Dubai-based radio star and television personality has announced that he’s opening his first restaurant in the city, joining the line-up at 25 Jump Street.
Billed as Dubai’s first licensed dining strip, 25 Jump Street is already being talked about as a game-changer for the city’s dining scene, bringing together homegrown operators and global names in one walkable, atmosphere-heavy stretch.
Details on the soon-to-open Kris Fade restaurant concept are under wraps for now — no name, menu, or design reveal has been made just yet — but the location alone hints at serious culinary intent. His restaurant will sit directly opposite Yubi Handroll Bar by Chef Reif Othman, placing it among strong company from day one. The news broke on Kris Fade’s Instagram, where he confirmed the 25 Jump Street address and promised more information would be shared soon. For the uninitiated, Kris Fade has been waking up the UAE since 2008 as host of The Kris Fade Show on Virgin Radio. Beyond the mic, he’s built businesses spanning fitness and wellness, and he’s a familiar face on Netflix’s Dubai Bling.
25 Jump Street is a partnership between 7 Management and Ennismore, featuring 12 distinct concepts. Several are already trading — including Antika, Em Sherif Deli and Joe & The Juice — while others are on the way, from Lady Bird and Junk to Le Trottoir de Paloma, Lucylu, Escobar, 19SixtyFour by McGettigan’s, and Yubi.
One name remains unaccounted for on the roster: Pepperoni. By process of elimination, this casual pizza and pasta spot, which may also serve as a comedy club, is the most likely candidate for the new Kris Fade restaurant. Either way, the mix of brands suggests a lively, licensed destination designed for all-day grazing and late-night energy.
