Dubai Bling Interview: Zeina Khoury

FACT chats exclusively with one of the ten millionaires at the premiere of the hit Netflix show.

As Netflix’s new reality TV show Dubai Bling is the talk of the town, we talked directly to its stars. Zenia Khoury has joined the stellar cast, and chatted to us about how she left political unrest in Lebanon and found success as well as love in Dubai. 

The Lebanon-born, Dubai-based Zeina has 62.2k followers on Instagram. A graduate of The London Business School, she is more than just a pretty face. The CEO of a luxury real estate agency, she shares on her gram that “anything is possible”.  

Tell us about yourself. 

I am originally Lebanese and I moved to Dubai in 2006. I started a career in real estate and found a second home in Dubai for myself and my family. I found love in Dubai, and established a wonderful family and I have a great business. 

Why did you come to Dubai? 

I had political unrest in my home country, Lebanon, which is still ongoing, unfortunately. I came to Dubai after a graduated with a degree in finance. I was looking for an opportunity to build myself. 

What’s the most bling thing you’ve done in Dubai? 

Probably being on Dubai Bling. While I believe I am a successful person, however, I live a very modest life. I love fashion, I love nice things, but Dubai Bling made me go all out. 

What was the best part of filming? 

The best part of filming is the fact that it is being done in Dubai, and it has the name of Dubai in its title. The city has secured my future and my children’s future, and has given me an opportunity away from home to feel safe, secure, find love, and establish myself as a business woman. I went to London Business School in Dubai, I got married in Dubai, and I gave birth to both of my children in Dubai. Dubai is very special to me, and this is the most important thing for me to participate in the show. 

Why should people watch the show? 

People should watch the show if they want to see a group of independent, controversial individuals in Dubai. Each of them has managed to become successful in their own way. If you are looking to be inspired or see how other successful individuals lead their life, watch the show. The individuals actually have issues and struggles themselves. Plus, if people want to be entertained, there is a lot of drama – and it’s all real – then Dubai Bling is the exact recipe for you.
