    Birch

    Birch has travelled from St Petersburg to Dubai, bringing its modern dining approach to The Ritz-Carlton DIFC. Led by Chef Arslan Berdiyev, the restaurant does not limit itself to a single cuisine or region.     Novikov Café

    On 31 January 1990, McDonald’s opened its first-ever venue in Russia. The Moscow native, Arkady Novikov, applied for a job and never heard back.
