It’s time to get automatic, systematic and hydromatic because Grease The Musical is coming to Dubai Opera. Most people will know Grease, thanks to the 1978 movie of the same name. The film stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing and Jeff Conaway. Set in the 1950s, it first shows Danny and Sandy having a summer romance. They part ways, then find themselves at the same school, Rydell High. The score includes “Grease Lightnin’,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Summer Lovin’,” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

Watch Elissa live in Dubai

Adding a touch of Arabic glam to Dubai Opera is the region’s beloved singer, Elissa, who’ll perform on 3 November. Seoul’s one-Michelin-star SOUL comes to Dubai for an exclusive collaboration at HANU, delivering a 14-course chef’s table across two seatings of only 10 guests per session. The collaboration menu, featuring SOUL’s chef duo Heeeun Kim and Daehyun Yoon alongside HANU’s Chef Kyung Soo Moon, will blend Korean heritage with modern precision. Acclaimed chef Akmal Anuar has introduced Harummanis to Dubai. Located on Al Wasl Road, the restaurant shines a spotlight on Singaporean Malay cuisine.
